2 Way Regulating Valves
Two way regulating valves are designed to regulate liquids.
The valves are installed – in combination with one of our temperature- or pressure differential regulators – in control systems for heating of domestic premises, district heating, industrial processes or marine installations. For marine application the valves are supplied with the relevant certificates in accordance with the ship´s classification societies. Selection of the appropriate valve will be assisted by a dimensioning sheet.

3 Way Regulating Valves
Three way regulating valves type M3RV are designed for regulating water, lubricant oil, and other liquid media.
The valves can be mounted in the pipe system as mixing or as diverting valve.

Electro-hydraulic Power Pack

BESI produces small electro/hydraulic power packs for the supply of BESI hydraulic ¼ turn actuators type
HSTP as well linear actuators type HKV.
These mini power packs are usually installed directly at the actuator, thus providing a hydraulically
independent unit supplied by electric cabling only. For submerged installation the power unit may be installed
just outside the tank, to avoid hazardous areas installation can be done in a safe area nearby. The
connection to the remote control panel will be by one cable only.
The EHPP unit is applicable for both double-acting and spring-return hydraulic ¼-turn as well as linear
actuators. Under certain conditions the unit may be used to serve a group of several actuators via a small
solenoid valve box; thus piping over longer distances can be avoided.

Hydraulic Actuator 1

BESI hydraulic actuators, type HSTP, are available in double-acting and single-acting spring-return design, and benefit from the high oil-pressure level – 100 up to 135 bar, on request up to 160 bar; thus they offer comparably small overall dimensions. They may be installed at any place – submerged below medium, in dry spaces, on deck, and in hazardous areas.
Double-acting ¼-turn actuators need 2 hydraulic pipe connections for the supply of each valve; for springreturn
valves only 1 hydraulic supply pipe is necessary. For easy installation we recommend endless pipes from coil, preferably bundled pipes, comprising 2 or more hydraulic lines.

BESI produces the double-acting hydraulic actuator HSTP-D. The actuator has benefit from the high oilpressure level – 100 up to 135 bar, on request up to 160 bar – and thus offers small overall dimensions. It may be installed at any place – submerged below medium, in dry spaces, on deck, and in hazardous areas.
Available as double-acting ¼-turn and linear actuator it needs 2 hydraulic supply pipes. For easy installation we recommend endless pipes (8 x 0.5 stainless steel) from coil, preferably bundled pipes, comprising 2 or a multiple of 2 hydraulic lines.

Hydraulic Power Packs

Hydraulic Power Packs produce the hydraulic pressure used to operate the connected remote control valves. Their tank capacity is defined by the total operating volume of the connected actuators. Their accumulator capacity, however, is defined by the capacity needed to operate the three biggest actuators of the connected system, in case of pump failure or loss of electric power.

Tank Level Measering System

Electronic pressure transducers type G1, ceramic sensor cell, delivered ready calibrated to the pressure height, calculated from tank height minus tank offset, multiplied with given density of the tank medium.
Adaptation to changing specific weight and/or tank offset are not possible when once defined.
